Worcester man ordered to tear down four-story tree house

(NECN: Kenneth Craig, Worcester, Mass.) – A house in Worcester is getting a lot of attention, but its not your typical colonial or ranch. Its a four-story tree house, and the city has ordered it to be torn down. City officials and the man who built the tree house both say they’re really surprised about how much attention the tree house is getting. “Heart of Oak” as its called, is four stories tall, towers over 55 feet, and weaves its way through a 300-year-old tree high above the Worcester hills. Officials took action when neighbors cited privacy concerns. Reporter Kenneth Craig has more.
