6-Year-Old Reaching for Toy Crushed to Death in Freak Fireplace Accident

A brick mantel and fireplace collapsed inside a North Carolina home, crushing a young boy. Jay’den Baskerville was home with his 3- and 5-year-old sisters when the accident happened, his great-grandmother said. He died before they got to the hospital “in his daddy’s arms,” she added.
