Boston Marathon Bombing Survivors Award Scholarship to Boston College Student

Patrick Downes and Jessica Kensky, two amputee survivors of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, are awarding the “Boston College Strong” scholarship to Jack Manning, of Norfolk, Massachusetts. The inaugural winner lost a leg to cancer as a child, and overcame his disability to play high schoolfootball and baseball, mentor young cancer patients, and raise money for cancer research.
