Complaints Lead to New Leash Laws

MassWildlife has adopted leash laws for its Wildlife Management Areas. The agency says it has received repeated complaints from folks who use the state lands about dogs being off-leash attacking other dogs or people and disrupting hunters. Violators could face fines. The law will go into effect after the Secretary of State’s Office publishes it.
