Police continue to search for Wes Doughty, who is considred armed and dangerous, after he allegedly committed a double murder in Peabody, Massachusetts, and carjacked someone Wednesday night.
Authorities say a second suspect in a gruesome double murder in Peabody, Massachusetts last weekend is believed to have committed a carjacking on Wednesday night and is still on the loose.
Police say 39-year-old Wes Doughty, who is considered armed and dangerous, carjacked a gray 2006 Honda Accord 4-door with Massachusetts license plate 7KLY80 outside of Hailey's Restaurant in Middleton, Massachusetts.
The victim, Ken Metz, was threatened with a knife and tied up with a seatbelt while Doughty drove. Doughty took the car to Boston, where the Metz was released unharmed.
Metz told us Doughty allegedly said he killed the couple because they gave heroin to his godfather.
"He did tell me he wasn’t going to harm me after I told him I was going to cooperate with him and told him about my wife’s situation and that I had four kids and eight grandkids. And he said 'I can’t kill you,'" said Metz.
"It came up about where he may go, but by then I knew this guy didn’t know his way around Boston, so I don’t think he’s going to get very far," he added.

Metz's ordeal ended on Tremont Street, where Doughty allegedly stopped to buy booze.
Nichols Anastasiadis was working at his son's restaurant Good Eats on Tremont Street when a man, later identified as Metz, came in, saying he had been carjacked.
The man told him he had been tied up and driven around for three hours until the suspect pulled into a parking lot behind Hollywood Liquors, which is when he was able to untie himself and ran into Good Eats for help.
"He came inside, he was shaking, he was cut here on his hand, there were bruises here," Anastasiadis said, gesturing to the side of his neck.
Police say Doughty is still at large.
Doughty is the second suspect in the double murder of 37-year-old Mark Greenlaw and 39-year-old Jennifer O'Connor at 19 Farm Ave. in Peabody on Saturday.
Michael Hebb, 45, of Peabody, was arraigned on Tuesday after being taken into custody without incident.
Police said Doughty should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him should not approach but immediately call 911 or the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section at 1-800-KAPTURE (1-800-527-8873).
