The brother of rapper Nicki Minaj has been convicted of predatory sexual assault after being charged with repeatedly raping an 11-year-old girl at his Long Island home.
An elderly man has been killed and his wife seriously injured in what authorities described as an apparent home invasion in Orange.
The Northwestern District Attorney's Office says the attack occurred Wednesday evening at a home on River Street, near the Orange Municipal Airport.
Students inside two area elementary schools were briefly told to shelter in place Thursday morning, but authorities lifted that order early in the afternoon.
The district attorney's office released a statement saying an autopsy would be performed to determine how the man died.
His wife was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. The victims' names and the woman's condition were not released.
No arrests have been made.
