Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said President Donald Trump’s medical records were taken from Dr. Harold Bornstein as part of standard White House procedure. Bornstein had told NBC News he felt “raped” after then White House aide Keith Schiller and Trump organization lawyer Alan Garten took Trump’s records as part of a “raid.”
Early Sunday morning we begin Daylight Saving Time — another sign that winter is coming. Election Day is Tuesday, Veterans Day is on Friday and Thanksgiving is only 19 days away.
We’ve already seen some snow accumulation in the higher elevations, but temperatures in October were above average and the first 5 days of November have been nearly 3 degrees above average. Boston typically sees its first frost/freeze of the season by November 1st. As of this blog post we have yet to see the first freeze in Boston. Temperatures the next few days will remain above average, so our freeze-free trend in Boston will continue.
We will see a gradual warm-up through Election Day. Temperatures by Tuesday will climb into the low to mid 60s — above 10 degrees above average. Slightly cooler air will move back in for the end of the work week — temperatures will be nearly average.
Next weekend looks cold. The coldest air mass of the season, so far, is set to move in Saturday and Sunday. Highs will climb into the 40s at the coast and 20s and 30s inland. It doesn’t look like we will receive much snow, but the ski resorts will be able to make snow at least 48 consecutive hours this coming Saturday and Sunday. This is wonderful news, because several New England mountains plan to open for Thanksgiving weekend.
