Homes Shine Blue Light for Fallen Sgt. Chesna

There has been an outpouring of support following the death of Sgt. Michael Chesna. Homes around Weymouth are shining a blue light to stand as a support system for the Weymouth Police Department, as well as Sgt. Chesna’s wife and two children. Organizer Dennis Brooks says he posted about the blue lights on social media and it took off. “I saw the tragic news happen and I wanted to show law enforcement the whole town cares, the whole south shore cares,” he said. Brooks added he’s not surprised by the support and that he’s getting more bulbs to give to residents.
