Icy Rescues Practiced in Georgetown

Rescue workers train for different scenarios on how to rescue someone who falls through ice.

It's a scenario that thankfully doesn't happen often - but when it does - Georgetown rescue workers plan to be prepared.

Officials underwent a series of practice runs on how to rescue someone who has fallen through the ice. Georgetown Fire Chief said officials went through a variety of different scenarios.

He said fortunately these incidents tend to be low in frequency but high in risk.
