New Britain Police have arrested a man who is accused of sexually assaulting a child multiple times.
Officers said 26-year-old Javier Medina, of New Britain, was arrested on Sunday and charged with multiple counts each of risk of injury to a child and sexual assault.
According to police, Medina is accused of inappropriately touching an 11-year-old girl on three separate occasions. The girl and Medina know each other.
Medina was found at his home when he was served with a warrant, police said. He is being held on $100,000 bond and is in court on Monday.
