Marine Who Crawled Across Boston Finish Line Completes NYC

The U.S. Marine who captured hearts across the country at the end of this year’s Boston Marathon has now completed the New York City Marathon. Micah Herndon ran so hard in Boston that he had to crawl across the finish line on Boylston Street in April. He’d been running in honors of two friends and a journalist who were killed by an IED in Afghanistan. The moment was so moving that he was offered a spot in Sunday’s New York City Marathon, which he completed in an amazing time of three hours and five minutes.
