A young woman was hospitalized after being shot Wednesday evening in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
The shooting took place at 6 p.m. at 18 Hancock Street.
Police said the victim was taken to an area hospital where she is in critical but stable condition.
A car was towed from the scene, police said.
