Poles, Wires Knocked Down After Crash in Newburyport, Massachusetts

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, when asked Thursday about the friction playing out in the public eye between White House chief of staff Reince Priebus and new White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, said conflict between White House staff is the result of “healthy competition.” Sanders’ comment came hours before the New Yorker magazine published a vulgarity-laced interview with Scaramucci.

A crash Tuesday morning in Newburyport, Massachusetts, knocked poles and wires down and left neighbors without power, officials confirm.

A semi truck crashed, knocking over six utility poles and live wires are on the ground near the intersection of Low Street and Zabriskie Drive.

Nearly 2,000 National Grid customers were initially left without power. Electricity has been restored to most of them.
