Escaped Prisoner Faces New Charge After Apprehension

Christian James Horne, who was in court to answer to domestic assault and battery charges, is also charged with escape after fleeing in Framingham, Massachusetts, and being caught again.

A Massachusetts prisoner is in custody after escaping Friday in Framingham, authorities confirm.

The Middlesex County Sheriff's Office says 28-year-old Christian James Horne of Framingham was apprehended after he fled Framingham District Court.

According to the sheriff's office, Horne got away while he was being escorted from the courthouse.

Massachusetts State Police, who assisted Framingham police with the search, said the the man had been arrested on domestic assault and battery charges.

After the incident Friday, the sheriff's office says Horne was returned to Middlesex Jail and House of Correction to face an added charge of escape.
