Authorities say a 56-year-old Massachusetts man struck by a hit-and-run driver has died.

The Plymouth district attorney's office says Wareham police are still looking for a pickup truck driver who hit a Wareham man on Cranberry Highway on Monday around 8:25 p.m.

When police arrived, they found a man lying in the middle of the road. The victim, identified as Ernest Robert Raddatz, was taken to Tobey Hospital, where he died.

Wareham police are working with state police to find the driver of the vehicle, which is described as a white Ford pickup truck.
