Elite Rowers Give Lessons to Boston Public School Students on Charles River

Thousands of world class rowers are coming to the Bay State this weekend for the 54th annual Head of the Charles Regatta. But on Thursday, some Boston public school students headed out on the water for the first time. It’s part of an effort to encourage more inner city kids to take advantage of the resources right in their backyard, which is the goal of the partnership between Community Rowing and the West End Boys and Girls Club.
