Medford, Mass. School Trains Next Generation of Irish Step Dancers

St. Patrick’s Day is about more than just festivities; it’s also about celebrations of culture, including the tradition of Irish step dancing. A school in Medford, Massachusetts, is training the next generation of champions. Deirdre Goulding Blomberg, a former professional dancer who once toured with Riverdance, has been teaching Irish step dancing for the past 25 years. She’s passing on her passion to a new generation at the Goulding School of Irish Dance.
