On-Ramp to Mass. Turnpike From I-95 Blocked Due to Rollover Crash

The city of Boston is making sure the homeless are not forgotten on Thanksgiving. Hundreds of volunteers, including sports legends and politicians, gathered at the Pine Street Inn to prepare and serve turkey dinners. Close to 800 pounds of mashed potatoes were served, 74 turkeys and 50 gallons of gravy. There was also 400 pounds of stuffing, 200 pounds of cranberry sauce and 205 assorted pies.

A semi-truck involved in a rollover crash Monday morning blocked access to the Massachusetts Turnpike.

The big rig crashed northbound on Interstate 95 near the on-ramp to the Mass. Pike around 4:30 a.m.

Access to the toll road from I-95 will be closed until further notice, according to officials. The driver of the big rig sustained minor injuries, state police said.

The ramp is expected to be closed through the morning commute.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
