Suspect in Vanessa Marcotte Murder Pleads Not Guilty

The man charged with killing a Google employee from New York who went missing after going out for a run near her mother’s Massachusetts home was ordered held without bail at his arraignment on Wednesday morning. Angelo Colon-Ortiz did not appear in court for his arraignment on a murder charge in Worcester Superior Court in the death last August of 27-year-old Vanessa Marcotte. His lawyer entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.
