White House Denies Memorial Day Gatherings Caused Coronavirus Spread

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany told reporters on Wednesday that “there was no linkage to Memorial Day as being some point of spurring wild outbreaks” of the coronavirus despite some health experts linking the growing number of U.S. cases to Memorial Day gatherings.
