Worcester Police Investigate Hit-and-Run

Police are asking anyone with information on the hit-and-run in Worcester that left one man injured to contact them.

A 53-year-old man was brought to the hospital with serious injuries after he was struck by a driver in a hit-and-run on Sunday.

The pedestrian was attempting to cross Orient St when he was struck by a speeding car, and the driver drove away, police said. 

The victim suffered serious injuries, including broken bones, but is expected to survive, Worcester police said. This investigation is still ongoing.
