    NH Teacher Accused of Raping Student in Mass.

    A New Hampshire middle school teacher appeared in court on charges of raping a student.

    A New Hampshire school teacher accused of sexually assaulting a student appeared in court Wednesday in Newton, Massachusetts.

    Primo "Howie" Leung, 36, was arrested on April 4 for allegedly bringing a student from New Hampshire to Massachusetts, where he would sexually assault her.

    Leung, who lives in Concord, New Hampshire, is charged with two counts of aggravated rape of a child, one count of indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14 and one count of indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14.

    Leung allegedly raped the student over the course of two years from 2014 to 2016. At the time, police say Leung was teaching at Rundlett Middle School in Concord. During the summers, they say he would drive his students down to Newton, Massachusetts, where he was a camp counselor at the Fessenden School.

    A teacher in New Hampshire is facing four felony charges in Massachusetts on accusations of sexually assaulting a student over a two-year span.

    In Newton District Court Wednesday, prosecutors said the victim felt helpless against Leung's behavior.

    "A lot of the time, he was aggressive with her," said Assistant District Attorney Radu Brestyan. "Not hitting her, but aggressively putting himself upon her and degrading her, and she had no choice in what was going on."

    Leung will be held without bail until Friday, when he the case will be further evaluated.
