Our warming trend continues through the weekend. This morning we started off frosty across inland cities and towns in southern New England and more widespread frost north.
We won't be quite as chilly tonight, but outlying areas will see patchy frost. Overall, we will see lows in the 40s to 50s.
Sunshine continues to rule the forecast through the weekend. Our highs on Friday will be in the 70s to near 80. Highs on Saturday will reach the low 80s while on Sunday we continue to gain some heat with highs in the mid-80s. It will feel like beach weather for our last official summer weekend.
Fall begins on Monday, but it will feel more like summer with highs again in the 80s and increased humidity. There is a cold front approaching our area, so increasing clouds and scattered showers and storms make their way through Monday night.
Highs fall back to the 70s for the rest of next week, really making it feel like the autumn season.
Cool nights and warm afternoons next week will help with some more brilliant foliage development across the northeast.
