About 30 people stung by wasps in San Diego, CA park

(NECN/KGTV: San Diego, CA) – A Boy Scout troop encountered a swarm of unhappy wasps while on a nature walk Saturday at a San Diego, California park. About 30 people were stung by the wasps. Boy Scout leaders acted quickly, making sure everyone received proper care. At least two were sent to the hospital. Authorities say one of the kids stepped on a wasp nest and the wasps swarmed. The kids were among a group of about 50 on a trail in Balboa Park.
