Tom Conroy has an ambitious agenda for the office of Massachusetts state treasurer, but he'll have to win a battle with two other Democrats just to get to the next round.
Conroy, a state representative from Wayland, says his biggest accomplish on Beacon Hill so far has been the minimum wage bill.
"I was the chairman of the labor committee. I brought forth that bill. We passed that. It's going to help 600,000 families live a better life here in Massachusetts," he said.
He says that although all three Democrats in the state treasurer primary are against casinos in the Bay State; however, Conroy says he was the only candidate with the foresight to see casinos as a problem before the others.
"My fear is that if we do have three casinos or four casinos in this state, it's going to cannibalize a lot of revenues," he said.
