Deer smashes window of Michigan restaurant

(NECN/WXYZ: Livonia, MI) – Talk about a memorable lunch guest! Folks in a suburban Detroit, Michigan restaurant were enjoying a leisurely mid-day meal at a neighborhood restaurant Sunday. The serenity of the occasion ended quickly. A deer smashed through a window, only to exit the restaurant seconds later through the front door. The amazing incident was caught on restaurant surveillance camera. Fortunately, no one was injured. One of the hostesses, six months pregnant, is shown on the video diving for cover. Other patrons recoiled in shock at the sight of the deer. Authorities believe the deer may have wandered toward the restaurant from a nearby wooded area. SURVEILLANCE VIDEO FROM L.
