Health care talks back behind closed doors

(NECN/ABC) – The day after a Senate committee passed a Democratic health care reform bill, efforts are underway to move to the next step. While many on Capitol Hill were celebrating the Senate Finance Committee passing their health reform plan, it is now the hard work that really begins. The $829 billion plan must now be merged with another Senate committee’s far more liberal package, which includes a government-run public option and requires employers to help cover workers. Both Democrats and Republicans are vowing to fight for changes to the merged bill. Olympia Snow of Maine was the lone Republican to vote for the Baucus bill. ABC’s TJ Winick has the latest.
