Inmates riot at Central Kentucky prison

(NECN/WTVQ: Burgin, Kentucky) – Police have reportedly subdued inmates rioting at a medium-security men’s prison. Prisoners had set fire to at least two buildings. Officials say no staff or officers were injured but some inmates suffered minor injuries. Prison officials said a medical building and kitchen were damaged at the medium-security Northpoint Training Center. The prison had been on lock down since Tuesday.
