Menino hopes voters will grant him shot at fifth term

(NECN: Alison King, Boston, Mass.) – Boston Mayor Tom Menino is the longest serving mayor in Boston history, having served 16 years in office. Today, he’s hoping voters will send him on his way to a record fifth term. Three candidates are looking to unseat incumbent Mayor Thomas Menino. They are City Councilors Sam Yoon and Michael Flaherty and businessman Kevin McCrea. Today’s election will narrow the field of four down to two.
