Polls Open for NH Primary

Polls close at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Candidates for the U.S. Senate, governor, Congress and the state legislature are on the primary ballot in New Hampshire.

In Tuesday's Republican primary, former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown leads a field of nine for the nomination to take on Democratic incumbent U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen.

Walt Havenstein and Andrew Hemingway are the two favorites competing for the GOP's nod to take on Gov. Maggie Hassan.

Republicans Frank Guinta and Dan Innis hope to run against incumbent U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter in the 1st Congressional District.

State Rep. Marilinda Garcia, former state Sen. Gary Lambert, former state Rep. Jim Lawrence and Mike Little of Concord will vie for the Republican nod in the 2nd Congressional District. The incumbent is Democrat Annie Kuster.

Polls close at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
