Record cold grips parts of the country

(NECN/ABC) – Record cold is gripping parts of the country. Temperatures have been so low; nearly 90 records have been shattered since Friday. In Denver, it feels more like January than October, with freezing drizzle in the forecast. From car crashes in St. Paul, Minnesota, to difficult driving conditions in South Dakota, you didn’t have to look far to see the impact of snow and freezing temperatures across several western and mid-western states this weekend. ABC’s Jeremy Hubbard reports.
