Two children reunited with mother after Phoenix kidnapping

(NECN/KNXV) – The two children that police in Phoenix, Arizona, say were kidnapped during a home invasion have been reunited with their mother. Police say a two-year-old boy and a 10-month-old girl were home with their mother when four men forced their way in early this morning. A witness says the men were yelling that they were the police. They say the suspects then took the children and left in a white sedan. The mother was not hurt. Police do not think the mother of the children knew the suspects. They believe it initially was an attempted robbery. The children were dropped off at another house and police officers were holding the children. They were put in a van and driven back to be reunited with their mother. Police are still trying to figure out what happened and are looking for the four suspects.
