WWE CEO Linda McMahon thinking about running for U.S. Senate

(NECN) – The chief executive of World Wrestling Entertainment wants Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd out of the political ring. A spokesman for the Stamford based media and entertainment company confirms Linda McMahon is considering a bid for the republican nomination for the Senate seat. If the 60-year-old decides to run, she will step down as CEO and her husband, Vince McMahon, would assume her duties. Earlier this year, Linda McMahon was appointed by Governor Jodi Rell to the Connecticut Board of Education.
