Lowell: “We didn't give up”

(NECN) – Just two weeks after New York swept Boston in the Bronx, the Yanks brought their ‘A’ game to Fenway. It looked like batting practice for Hideki Matsui. He homered twice and had a career-high 7 RBI’s. A-Rod had four of the Pin-stripes 23 hits. Final score was 20-11! That’s the most runs the Red Sox have given up in 9 years! As you can imagine– they aren’t happy. NECN spoke with Mike Lowell, Nick Green and Terry Francona about the loss. New York now leads Boston by a whopping 7 1/2 games in the American League East.
