14 Springfield Officers Indicted for 2015 Alleged Beating, Cover-up

It was a dark day Wednesday for Springfield Police. Fourteen officers, 12 current and 2 former, after they were indicted in the 2015 alleged assault of a group of men outside a bar and subsequent cover-up on the crime. But that incident is just the tip of the iceberg for the Springfield Police Department which is under federal investigation.
