Arrest of Undocumented Worker Raises Questions About BPD Relationship With ICE

There are a ton of questions about the handling of an undocumented construction worker who was severely injured on the job for his Boston-based company. That company then reported to the Boston Police Department about the worker’s immigration status and the worker was picked up by ICE. The ACLU is calling for the Boston Police Department to share information about the “joint task force” between police and ICE and for Mayor Marty Walsh to be transparent on whether how such a task force works.
