Out-of-State Companies Wielding Big Power in Recreational Pot Industry

Massachusetts lawmakers and regulators hoped having local entrepreneurs run recreational marijuana stores in the state but so far, it hasn’t worked out like that. Wealthy, out-of-state companies are starting to dominate the market and appear to be violating at least the spirit of the law when it comes to how many stores they can own and operate.
