Weather Forecast: Scattered Showers

This evening scattered showers across most of new England with steadier light rain along the coast. This is due to a storm system over down east Maine & the Canadian Maritimes .. the air around the storm rotates counter clock wise & it’s bringing in cool air from Canada. Tonight, a few lingering showers early, then partial clearing with blustery northwest winds. Lows in the 40s south, 30s north. On Tuesday, a spotty coastal shower during the morning hours, increasing afternoon sunshine courtesy of a weak high pressure system that will build in from the west. Breezy with highs slightly warmer than today near 60 for most. On Wednesday, clouds & sunshine & milder with highs running on average a few degrees above the normal. Highs in the 60s. Watching the possibility of a coastal storm moving in on Friday. Track of the storm right now takes it just south of new England, grazing southern areas with rain…but a slight shift in the track would bring a lot more/less rain. We will watch this storm in the next few days…Improvement for the weekend, especially Sunday with dry conditions & highs in the mid-60s for many!
