Today… not as cold, a breezy southwest wind will bring highs into well into the 40s in southern New England, 50s for the Cape & Islands and 30s across the North Country. Intervals of sun and clouds this for most of New England, however Lake effect snow showers will reach Vermont and the Berkshire’s, 1″ to 3″ snow possible. Blustery and cold tonight and Friday behind a cold front that wings through New England. Tonight…mostly clear skies, cold and breezy. Any left over Lake-Effect snow showers west will come to an end by late evening. Lows in the 20s along the coast, teens across interior Southern New England and North. Wind-chill values in the single digits for many. On Friday, High Pressure builds in providing mostly sunny skies to New England but cold once again, high in the 30s along the coast, near 30F west and 20s north. Windy and cold on Saturday. Highs in the 30s south 20s north with a Northwest wind gusting to 35 mpg during the afternoon. On Sunday, a nice warm-up with highs in the 50s. A rain storm moves in late on Sunday into Monday.
