Mostly clear and windy tonight. Actual air temperatures drop below zero in much of New England, approaching records. Wind chill values will reach -20 to -40, meaning frostbite can set in on exposed skin in just minutes. Snow continues in that narrow portion of the midcoast of Maine, and some snow showers will continue on Cape Cod and the islands.
