Forecast: Rain Showers

Mostly cloudy skies will prevail across southern New England as a storm slides just to our south. It will get close enough to produce a few rain and snow showers along the south coast, and a gusty northerly wind along coastal Massachusetts overnight. That wind, combined with high tides, will produce areas of minor to moderate coastal flooding tonight. Farther north, mostly clear. Cold again for all with lows in the teens and 20s. Skies will clear towards morning, leaving us with lots of sun on Sunday. Breezy early with highs in the 40s. A band of snow showers will flare up Sunday night into early Monday in northern New England as warmer air tries to return to the region. Otherwise expect mostly cloudy and breezy conditions Monday with a few spotty rain showers. Highs reach the 50s. Clouds and showers continue with 50s on Tuesday, then we see more sun mid- to late-week as highs creep closer to 60.
