(NECN: Katelyn Tivnan) - After the chocolates, flowers and cards, there's still more to think about when it comes to Valentine's Day.

A professor from Assumption College is researching the science behind love, and those findings may surprise you.

"Romantic love, in particular, passionate love, seems to be associated with certain brain areas that we know are involved in reward," the professor said.
