Severe Weather Today, Tranquil Weather Tomorrow
Many locations start off with fog this morning. Heavy rain with strong to severe thunderstorms expected today as a low pressure system approaches the region from the west. First round of rain and thunderstorms affect the south coasts early this morning. Attention shifts north later this afternoon where storms are expected to develop. High temperatures top off in the upper 70s. A cold front will push through later tonight, bringing with it much drier and less humid air, lows in the 60s. Mostly sunny skies prevail tomorrow as high pressure system works into our area, highs around 80. Wednesday continues stretch of nice weather with mostly sunny skies and highs around 80. Thursday and Friday will feature the threat of afternoon showers each day with mostly sunny skies and highs near 80. Clouds return for the weekend.
