(NECN) - A new iPad will be revealed by Apple on Wednesday, and the company is holding a special event for the big unveiling.

Apple Expert, Blogger, and Author of "buying and Owning a Mac: Secrets Apple Doesn't Want You to Know" Jonathan Zschau joined "The Morning Show" to discuss the changes expected.

What we're likely to see
-Retina Display (1024x768 to 2048x1536). Four times as many pixels on iPad 3 screen than iPad or iPad 2. Huge difference.
-Chipset. Either A6 Quad Core or A5X Dual Core. Moderate step up or larger boost. Likely improved GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) more RAM, etc.
-Better Camera. iPad 2 Camera only good for video. Still, iPad isn't as useful as a camera as an iPhone is.
-SIRI. iPad 3 will probably have SIRI.
-Same Size and Shape. Lots of evidence that the iPad 3 will be about 1 mm thicker, larger camera lens. Same size otherwise.
-Operating System. Upgraded iOS, which will likely be released to other iOS devices in the days to follow.

False Rumors
-Naming iPad HD. No.
-$30 Price increase. No. Still likely to start at $499 for entry-level iPad 3.
-Smaller iPad to compete with Kindle. iPad 2 may be reduced, but likely not going to see an iPad "mini".
-4G LTE. Probably not. Networks aren't ready. 3G still sufficient.
-Home Button Elimination. They won't get rid of it, if anything eliminate Home Button as a mechanical button and replace with enclosed touch button.

What Do You Need To Know?
-Press conference takes place Wednesday, 7th, 10:00 AM PST.
-iPad 3 will be center stage. Specs will be released & pre-order dates will be announced. We may also see other things, like new Apple TV or new iOS details.
-Get informed over the next 24 hours and make your own decision to buy or upgrade. If you do think you want one, act fast & pre-order.
-If you're new to iPads, start with the entry-level model of the iPad 3 line. There likely will be no difference other than 3G/4G vs. WiFi-only access and hard drive size.
-If you do own an iPad or iPad 2, consider trading in. Apple's own Computer Reuse and Recycling program offers ~270.00 for an entry level (16 GB, WiFi only) iPad 2. There are many other avenues too such as Craigslist or Gazelle.com. Key here is to shop around get the best price, and be safe if you sell your iPad in-person through somewhere like Craigslist.
