(NECN: Justin Michaels) – A rash of late-night violence has left multiple people seriously injured across the city of Boston.

Three different violent crimes happened in three different parts of the city Monday night.

The first crime, a shooting, happened on River Street in Mattapan. A 25-year-old man was found shot when police arrived. He was taken to Boston Medical Center with critical injuries. Investigators are still working on details.

About two hours later, at about 9:30, a 37-year-old man was shot multiple times near the intersection of Tremont and Aguadilla Streets in the South End. Boston Police say someone fired into a crowd of people. The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center to be treated for his injuries and remains in critical-but-stable condition.

Just before 10:20, 40 Boylston Street was the scene of a shooting as well as a stabbing. Witnesses saw a black man wearing a hoodie running from the scene to Massachusetts Avenue. There is no word on the victim in this crime.
