(NECN: Jackie Bruno, Boston) – Thursday night, the city will be Boston Strong as the TD Garden rocks out to support the One Fund. Big names and local celebrities are returning to the Hub to help those most affected by the Boston Marathon bombings.

This concert is going to be jam packed with major stars, including Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor, Aerosmith, Jason Aldean and New Kids On The Block. That’s just to name a few, and it’s all to raise money for the One Fund.

It’s been more than a month since two bombs changed Boston forever.

“It’s frightening, but I think this city has done a great job coming together to support the victims and support each other and that’s always really moving,” says Brianna Barton.

And Thursday night, a special concert will unite the city once again.

A line up of Boston favorites will rock the Garden, helping the city continue to heal.

“It makes me feel like Boston really is Boston Strong,” says Gwendolyn Bristoe.

So, who are people looking forward to seeing?

“Probably New Kids On The Block,” Bristoe says.

What is it about them?

“I don’t know, I just love them,” she says.

And who doesn’t love New Kids On The Block? But if pop isn’t your thing, how about rock legends like Aerosmith?

“That’s my generation so I think it’s a great thing.”

And Jane Crane can say, she knew them when…

“I picked up, he was thumbing the bass guitarist from Aerosmith and he was going to practice and this was before they came famous. And when hitch hiking was a good idea… I used to hitch hike, things were safer back then.”

And if you’re more into right now than back then, how about the Dropkick Murphies?

“That’s going to be awesome. They know how to get Boston going. That will be good,” says Barton.

Good will probably be an understatement. The concert is expected to be a once in a lifetime mix that are sure to please.

The One Fund Boston has now raised over $37-million, and the concert is expected to bring in a significant amount of money, as well.
