(NECN) - A Boston principal has fulfilled an unusual promise made to students, after a friendly reading bet.
Justin Vernon, the principal at the Roger Clap Innovation School, agreed back in November to dress up like Lady Gaga if his student read more than 10,000 books by June 1.
The kids exceeded the goal, reading 13,000 books over the course of the school year.
Vernon kept his word, and dressed up in oversized sunglasses, a blonde wig, and high heels.
Vernon's promise also called for him to milk a cow, which he did in front of his students on Tuesday.
