Vigil held for Molly Bish

Wednesday, June 27, 2012, 9:47pm

(NECN) - Wednesday marks 12 years since the disappearance of Molly Bish.

Wednesday night a vigil to remember the late teenager was held in the town of Warren, Mass..

Molly was just 16 when she vanished from her job as a lifeguard in Warren back in 2000.

Three years later her remains were found in the woods of Palmer.

Her murder remains unsolved but her family remains committed to finding her killer.

Earlier this month the Worcester County District Attorney announced new DNA testing on evidence found at the spot where Molly disappeared.

Some of the items have never been tested before and the state police crime lab will also be using newer technology on that evidence.

There is no information on the age, gender, or condition of either child
