(NECN) - This past weekend was a weekend that could change the course of the 2012 presidential campaign and it has already produced some new ads. On both sides, there are attack ads that fact-checkers have labeled flat-out false. We take a look at both of them.

First, Mitt Romney attacks Barack Obama on the question of work for welfare and then a pro-Obama PAC blames Romney for a tragedy.

John Carroll of Boston University and the "Campaign Outsider" blog joins us to discuss some of the ads.
