(NECN) – For decades now, Livingston Taylor has been writing
songs, entertaining audiences and teaching musicians to perform.
This week, he’s showing how it’s done by performing on tour
in several states.
He’s a singer, songwriter, author of “Stage Performance,”
and professor at the Berklee College of Music.
Taylor says his book is about how you perform on stage, how
you hold onto an audience, what makes an audience want to come back, how do you
get an audience to be willing to pay to see you and what you do when it doesn’t
work.
Taylor was a guest of Jim Braude’s on Broadside. Watch the
clip to hear him play.
